We came to America to prosper with open heart
To be American we loved it and worked hard
People helped us with over whelming enthusiasm
We settled on this soil with a good head-start
We started our career as we tried as we sought
On September 11 an ideology shattered our hearts
Dream was shattered and cracked as its impact caused.
In June 2004 I became jobless, shook me apart
A man from NYC without notice went through house
He came on iceberg which doesn’t melt with salt
Lost our freedom of speech stayed silent and shocked
He left some questions, and marks on our family hearts
We still wonder for misrepresentation of Freedom chart
No one consoled us for this behavior made us fraught
It is our land we still love it with clean heart
